CalNurCo #7 Dawn Redwood

The Dawn Redwood is a native to central China. It was thought to be extinct, but was discovered in the early 1940s in China. The species is closely related the the Coast Redwood, Sequoia, and Bald Cypress of North America. This particular tree was planted in 1949.
