CalNurCo #24 - The Jose de Jesus Vallejo Adobe

Early picture with wood roof.
Built originally as a bunk house for vaqueros managing a herd of cattle north of Alameda creek, the building has several functions over the years including grain storage, fumigation of trees, and a guest lodge for the nursery. The building is now very occasionally used for parties, meetings, and receptions.

The wooden section is an addition. We are standing approximately at the gate with the bathrooms behind us. You can see the original door on the side.

Several people were supposed to have been born here.
